Moms In Motion  is the leading organization in the Virginia Medicaid Service Facilitation industry committed to fostering employee growth, continuous learning, and innovation. We are looking for an experienced Training Department Manager to lead our team and help design, implement, and oversee training programs that enhance employee skills and contribute to our overall success. Must live in Virginia.

Your Impact:
 The Training Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of training programs for employees across all levels. This individual will work closely with department heads and senior management to identify training needs, align learning initiatives with company goals, and ensure that training activities are effective and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Lead, manage, and develop the Training Department, ensuring that all training initiatives are aligned with company objectives.
  • Design, implement, and oversee training programs for employees, including onboarding, professional development, and leadership training.
  • Collaborate with senior management and department managers to assess and fulfill training needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Manage the department's budget, ensuring cost-effective training solutions.
  • Create and maintain a training calendar, ensuring programs are delivered on time and in accordance with department and company goals.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the training team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Report on training outcomes and make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis and feedback. 
  • Attend occasional In-person meetings when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  •  Proven experience as a Training Manager, Learning and Development Manager, or in a similar leadership role in training and development.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design, learning technologies, and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements. 
  •  Experience with leadership development programs and managing large-scale training initiatives. 
  •  Knowledge of industry-specific training needs and regulatory compliance. (Preferred)
