- Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension
- Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation
- Develop and maintain a detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods of improvement
- Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write standard operating procedure (SOP) manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, trainings and presentations.
- Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise, edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
- Create scripts for video tutorials and for customer service team
- Manage and maintain Knowledge Database (GetGuru)
- Write newsletters, blogs, and other content for company externally facing website
- Maintain content on company intranet website
- Two+ years’ experience as an effective technical writer
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
- Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
- Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience working in PDF editor, PowerPoint/Canva, and Google Suite
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or relevant field
- Advanced level skills in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- A writing portfolio is a plus.
- Experience with Knowledge Databases (ex. GetGuru) is a plus.

Our mission is to enhance the outcome for all of our clients and their families, by using person-centered practices while providing superior service, sharing resources, continually expanding our knowledge, and networking. We achieve this through leveraging our passion, talent, and experience to lead others to the answers, help, and hope for which they are looking. Our primary areas of growth will be advocating in the school systems for our younger clients, assisting young adults with transitioning to independence, and helping our aging clients to be cared for by the people who love them.
